Brady Corporation

Project Type: Design

For nearly 20 years, Brady Corporation has relied on CJ & Associates, Inc. for their interior design and furnishing projects.

“CJ & Associates is like shopping at Super Wal-Mart,” said Patricia Stelzel, Office Services and Facilities Service Engineer at Brady Corporation. “You can’t beat one-stop shopping.”

Throughout the past two decades, CJ has helped Brady with their office and cubicle design. Most recently, CJ took on a very large project by reconfiguring and relocating several departments from one location to another.

“We mostly work on reconfiguration,” said Kim Hastings, President of CJ & Associates. “The relocating of departments was a very large project, but we were able to deliver our services on schedule and without any major problems.”

“There is no guessing,” Stelzel said. “CJ is always up-front and reliable. With some vendors you need to keep

asking questions, but CJ will give you all the facts right away. I will continue to recommend CJ.”

Brady, a manufacturer and marketer of identification products, was founded in 1914 in Eau Claire as W.H. Brady Co., and renamed Brady Corporation in 1998. Brady's core capabilities in manufacturing, precision engineering and materials expertise make it a leading supplier to the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) market and to the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) market.

Johnson, Project Design and Management Director for Campus Operations. “We placed a bid with CJ right away and our relationship has grown ever since.”

CJ provided multiple services for the college, including layout design, material selection, installation, repairs, moving, reinstallation, storage and inventory tracking.

“We take an interest in our clients and want to establish an ongoing relationship that will help foster the continued use of our services,” said Kim Hastings, President of CJ & Associates. “We make sure that we can be the single source for contact, coordination and responsibility.”

As the single contractor, CJ & Associates is able to work efficiently and productively, leaving the confusion of multiple contractors out of the scenario.

“Typically, there are difficulties and challenges with every project,” said Johnson. “The key to success is how people deal with those obstacles. CJ is able to adapt and overcome those situations.

“I have and will absolutely continue to recommend CJ & Associates for any business looking to build or renovate. They build relationships and help customers build for the future.”
